Floors, paint, drywall, bathrooms, doors and the small stuff for Newport Beach homes.
Yes, I serve Newport Beach. I'm Raul Ibarra, a family-owned handyman based in Buena Park since 2011, and Newport Beach is about 35 minutes from my house. Text me a photo of the job and I'll tell you what it needs and what it costs.
A Newport Beach customer hired me from my Yelp reviews, got a written quote, agreed on a price, and had drywall patched, doors aligned, wall art hung and hooks installed, finished 'well and on time.' That's the kind of job I do in Newport: the detailed list in a house where the details show.
Newport is about 35 minutes from me, so I group the work: a full punch list, a room of floors, a repaint, a bathroom refresh. Salt air is hard on exterior paint and doors, and older beach homes have their own quirks. I quote in writing and show up when I said.
Most common jobs here: drywall patching and door alignment, wall art and hardware installs, interior repaints, door and trim repair, bathroom refreshes.
In Newport Beach's newer homes the builder-grade carpet and laminate wear out before the house does. I replace it with vinyl plank or better laminate, matched at every doorway, with the baseboards finished to the same standard as the rest of the home.
More about vinyl plank and laminate flooring in Newport Beach →Paint in Newport Beach is about clean lines and no mess in a house that's already nice. Furniture covered, floors protected, two coats, and nothing left behind. Exterior repaints get proper washing and priming so the finish holds.
More about house painting in Newport Beach →Holes, cracks and water damage in Newport Beach homes get patched, textured to match what's there, and painted so you can't find the repair. Popcorn ceilings scraped and retextured. Stucco patched outside.
More about drywall repair in Newport Beach →For Newport Beach bathrooms it's usually an upgrade, not a rescue: a better vanity and faucet, a tile floor or backsplash, new lighting and hardware, repainted and finished clean.
More about bathroom remodel in Newport Beach →New doors, hardware, crown and baseboard that match the rest of a Newport Beach home. Hung plumb, cased, caulked and painted so the joints disappear.
More about door installation in Newport Beach →Keyless locks, mailboxes, TV mounts, shelving, smoke detectors, holiday lights, furniture assembly. Send me the list for your Newport Beach home and I'll quote the whole thing for one visit.

Hired him based on 5 star reviews on Yelp. Gave me a written quote & we agreed upon a price. Completed the job well & on time. Included dry wall patching, aligning & fixing doors, putting up wall art, hanging hooks etc. Will use him again in the future if needed. Ask him to clean up afterwards as…

Neighborhoods I work in:
Yes. It's a drive, so I'm best for a list of work or a full room rather than a single small item. A Newport Beach review on Yelp covers a multi-item job done on time.
Always. That same Newport Beach review mentions the written quote and agreed price.
Yes. Drywall patching and door alignment is one of the most common jobs I take in Newport Beach. Text me a photo and I'll give you a written number.
It depends on the job, so I don't quote blind. I come look (free), give you one written number that covers labor, materials and cleanup, and that's the price you pay unless the scope changes. Several reviews mention I came in best of three bids.
Text a photo of the job to (714) 610-5062 with your city. I'll reply with a ballpark or set a time to come look, then give you one number in writing.
Text me a photo. I'll tell you what it needs and what it costs.
