Floors, paint, drywall, bathrooms, doors and the small stuff for La Mirada homes.
Yes, I serve La Mirada. I'm Raul Ibarra, a family-owned handyman based in Buena Park since 2011, and La Mirada is about 10 minutes from my house. Text me a photo of the job and I'll tell you what it needs and what it costs.
La Mirada is just over the county line and only ten minutes from me, so I treat it like a home city. The homes are solid mid-century tracts that are at the age where floors, paint, doors and bathrooms all need attention at once.
Most La Mirada calls start with one thing, a sticking door or a hole in the drywall, and turn into a list. That's fine. One visit, one quote, and I work through it.
Most common jobs here: door repair and replacement, drywall and texture, vinyl plank flooring, interior paint, punch lists before a sale.
Most La Mirada homes I see still have carpet over the original floor. I pull it, prep the subfloor, lay vinyl plank or laminate, and finish with new baseboard so the room is done in one job.
More about vinyl plank and laminate flooring in La Mirada →La Mirada's older homes usually need prep before paint: patching, sanding, caulking, sometimes wallpaper or popcorn removal. I do all of it, then two coats with lines cut by hand. Exteriors get washed, patched and primed before color.
More about house painting in La Mirada →Holes, cracks and water damage in La Mirada homes get patched, textured to match what's there, and painted so you can't find the repair. Popcorn ceilings scraped and retextured. Stucco patched outside.
More about drywall repair in La Mirada →Original La Mirada bathrooms from that era are small and tired. New tile floor, vanity, mirror, light, wainscot or paint, and fresh baseboard, usually in a few days, without gutting it to the studs.
More about bathroom remodel in La Mirada →Openings in older La Mirada homes are rarely square. I shim and fit new interior doors, bifolds and French doors so they close right, replace casing and baseboard, and fix the doors that stick.
More about door installation in La Mirada →Keyless locks, mailboxes, TV mounts, shelving, smoke detectors, holiday lights, furniture assembly. Send me the list for your La Mirada home and I'll quote the whole thing for one visit.

My property had a water leak issue, and after the plumber fixed it, I needed someone to patch the drywall and repaint the area. I found Raul through Yelp. From the very beginning, Raul was extremely responsive. After I contacted him, he quickly arranged a time to come by, inspect the damage, and…

Stephen L.Great service, and affordable. Raul and Tim really helped us out. Replaced a garage door, and some holes we had in our walls. Took care of us. Would recommend and will use them again in the future.

Yes. Patching, paint, floors, doors and the small fixes an inspector flags. I can quote the whole punch list from a walkthrough.
Yes. Door repair and replacement is one of the most common jobs I take in La Mirada. Text me a photo and I'll give you a written number.
It depends on the job, so I don't quote blind. I come look (free), give you one written number that covers labor, materials and cleanup, and that's the price you pay unless the scope changes. Several reviews mention I came in best of three bids.
Text a photo of the job to (714) 610-5062 with your city. I'll reply with a ballpark or set a time to come look, then give you one number in writing.
